The season started with a cold but dry event. Conditions were more akin to a winters day than the start of Spring. Four riders braved the conditions and put down a marker for the rest of the year, as well as a good time for the Handicap!

From next week we are moving to Marston Magna Village Hall for our HQ – RNAS Yeovilton have increased the hire costs to ludicrous levels.
The hall is located on the main road, on the left shortly after the Marston Inn if you are coming from Yeovil. There is a car park in front of the hall. It will be open from 6pm.
Whilst it is further to the start of the 5 it is very close to the start/finish of the 10.
The best route to the 5 start is: Turn left out of HQ, then first left onto Little Marston Road. At the end of the road turn right, then first left. At the end of that lane turn left, (you are now back on the 10 course). At the crossroads turn right and the start is on your right. It is about 3 miles, you need to allow at 12-15 minutes to get there.
