Marilyn, and the catering team, sent this message today...We raised £250 on the day, £10 extra transferred to me and £10 which Steve Price was given.I paid it in from me, and they added Gift Aid, but I did stipulate that the donation was from Yeovil Cycle Club.Nigel Brown raised £401, which he paid in. This is an amazing amount of money.I am forwarding the Thank You response from the charity.Kind regards,Marilyn Dorset And Somerset Air Ambulance CharityLandacre House, Castle Road, Chelston Business Park, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 9JQDate: 26/08/2026Donation reference: ch_3U8dlDFawiK58CUl0boWCZoKHello Marilyn Cottle,Thank you for your generous and kind donation of £270.00 in support of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.Your support is vital in enabling us to deliver critical care to people in urgent need across our region. Our service is funded by charitable giving; by people like you. Because of your generosity, our dedicated crew operates 19 hours a day, providing emergency care. Whether responding to emergencies or transferring patients between hospitals by road or air, your contribution helps us be there when it matters most. Each mission costs approximately £3,500, and with rising demand and fundraising challenges, your donation is more important than ever. You are not just helping us keep our helicopter flying; you are helping us to save and improve lives. With your support, we can be there for patients today, tomorrow and in the future. On behalf of our team, our patients and everyone who benefits from our service, thank you for your incredible support. With thanks, Julie Plowden Deputy CEO Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance
